Everything retro is new again, including snapbacks. Rihanna and Jay-Z are fans of the style and ADEEN (whose lookbook we first featured here) is bringing those who love caps a bold way to wear them.
Started by Lower East Side native Rembrandt Duran, the designs ooze the grit and flashy street style that has become inherent to NYC. Duran strives to bring fun back to fashion and these pieces definitely do it, boasting fun acrylic graphic letters spelling out phrases like “Meow” and “Cre8″.
My favorite pieces are the “NYC” and “Hood” snapbacks. If Rihanna, Rita Ora, and Teyana Taylor don’t buy these now…
The acrylic letters make the hats a bit pricey, retailing for $160 – $180, but they’re definitely unique!

I can buy a snap back and get some letters from Hobby Lobby or Jo-Ann and make those hats for under $20…under $10 if I have a coupon.
