Herve Leger’s signature bandage dresses and bodycons were given a refreshing spin for Spring 2013, thanks to geometric prints, swirling designs, and patterns reminiscent of stained glass windows.
Blues and pinks mixed with white, black, and tan on pencil or A-line dresses skimming mid thigh. Quilted patchwork designs decorated halter frocks, or top and pant combos worn with strappy shoes.
Max and Lubov Azria also continued their leather harness theme, first viewed at their BCBG show only a few days before. The edgy accessories provided a stark contrast to the collection’s form fitting cocktails or flirty hemmed frocks.
Also on tap: scintillating swimsuits, replete with many the cut out.
Spring 2013 offers lots to brands devotees and to those who perhaps have strayed over the years. I can see Nene Leakes in any of the skin clinging looks, along with her bestie Jennifer Williams.
What do you think?
