Models.com recently confirmed what we already knew: Joan Smalls is Number 1.
The website recently crowned the Puerto Rican stunner (and our 2011 Model of the Year) Numero Uno and blessed the occasion with this fun video, shot by KlossLondon.

Regarding being a black model in the industry, she says, “Some people think it’s a challenge being diverse. You just have to remember who you are [and] where you come from. And that’s why you see me stomp and walk as hard as I can.”

Jennifer Lopez lookalike. Both Puerto Rican, home of 5 Miss Universe winners. With a population of only 3.8 M., the island must have the largest concentration of beautiful women in the world. JLo was really not born in the Caribbean island per se, but in the PR colony of NYC.
