Happy Friday Bombers and Bombshells!
I’m knocking Mail Bombs out nowish, as I’m headed to Noel New York to get some hip length braids done in time for Fashion Week. It’s been a little minute since I’ve gotten more than a wash and twist, and the whole process promises to take *forever*, so let’s get these wardrobe queries out of the way, shall we?
First up, Tashia says, “Where can I get the dress Adrienne Bailon wore to Ween’s recent event?”
“I love it!”
Yep! Our favorite Empire Girl hit the red carpet in $995 Giuseppe Zanotti booties and a Ruffled T-shirt dress by Opening Ceremony.
The dress features a dropped, ruffled skirt and a casual T-shirt top, both adorned with a subtly textured abstract pattern. Get yours from Bergdorf Goodman.
Next, Courtney writes, “Do you know where I can find Karrueche’s boots?”
“… I’m not a fan of the pairing with the dress, but I love the way the boots look!”
According to Necole Bitchie, Chris’s boo paired an Ashley Paige romper with Jimmy Choo open toe boots, though I was unable to find the boots for purchase online. Either they’re past season or simply aren’t for sale online as yet. In the meantime visit JimmyChoo.com for current styles.
Brittny writes, “I saw Rocsi on 106 & Park wearing these leggings.”
“Where can I get them?”
Rocsi paired a Zara tank and Walter Steiger heels with a $39 pair of BDG Brocade-Chain High-Rise Leggings from Urban Outfitters:
The soft and stretchy leggings have an ornate print. Get yours here.
Tracey says, “I was watching Hollywood Exes on VH1 and I wanted to know where Nicole Murphy purchased (or got for free, lol) her grey leather jacket.”
” It’s such a cool jacket. Can you please help me out!!!!”
According to reader Andrea C, Nicole’s jacket is from her forthcoming line, thus it’s not in production just yet. You can certainly get a similar look with this $1,371 JNBY Waterfall Collar Leather Jacket:
Crafted from super lightweight leather, the jacket has a waterfall front with an asymmetric hemline, suede panelling, and fitted seams through the back. It’s now on sale for $820. Get it at ASOS.
In a wardrobe query, Angie writes, ” I bought this Valentino Black Cropped Fur Jacket and I have no idea of how to wear it!”
“… Kim K is wearing a similar one here but I think she looks awful…”
“… and I really admire her style so it’s sad for me to not want to duplicate one of her looks. Let me know please!”
I’d say that the fur should be the focus, so don’t make it look too busy with too many layers. Your Valentino would look great over an A-line party dress, for example, or with a tank and jeans with boots. I tend to think that whatever you wear underneath shouldn’t be longer than the sleeves of your coat, though you can try it (if not, just opt for gloves to cover your forearms). Take inspiration from these cropped coat wearing celebs:
Time is tight (and I still have a Bombshell to upload), so I’m leaving you with a host of unsolved Mail Bombs!
Travis writes, “Can you tell me where I can find these glasses?”
A lot of you were intrigued by Monica’s glasses from this post, with A-Danielle asking, “Where did she get those frames?”
Cynthia says, “Where could I find the jumpsuit Dollicia Bryan wore to the 2011 pre bet party?”
And lastly, Starr writes, “Hello, I know this was posted before but I’ve been on the website for over an hour now looking for the post of who designed this dress for Draya. You can just e-mail me back with the designers name/website.”
We’ve never posted about this. If you can help Starr find Draya’s freakum dress, please do.
I’m uploading today’s Bombshell in two shakes, then off to sit in a chair for the rest of the day.
Have fantastic weekends, ladies, and stay tuned for more F Bomb fab.
*Update: According to Yakini from RealityTVFashion.com, Dollicia’s jumpsuit is Lulu’s Balaton Lake Orange Rust Jumpsuit.
Unfortunately, it’s sold out!
