Happy Monday everyone!
I hope everyone has recovered from AfroPunk and the weekend’s festivities! I kept it lowkey, though I did have fun on Friday night at Corner Social in Harlem and the MJ/Prince party at the HighLine.
Celebs were definitely out this weekend being snapped by the paparazzi. There was only one red carpet look out of the bunch which was quite surprising, but not to worry because the ladies definitely gave us enough fashion to discuss.
Let’s get into this weekend’s looks shall we?
Azealia Banks hit the stage at the Reading Festival in Reading, England in a cutout bandeau top, black hotpants, and crazy mesh platform wedge boots. I don’t love the footwear, but anything goes onstage and that hair and makeup? Hot!
Rihanna and bff Melissa hit the streets of West Hollywood in casual looks and sneakers. Rihanna opted for a crop top, high-waist skirt, and Air Yeezy 2 kicks, while Melissa chose a $48 Trapstar Life Is A Movie Tee, scarf print shorts, and Converse. I would definitely throw on Melissa’s ‘fit for brunch or a casual Sunday, but Rihanna’s look gets a hmm…between her lack of support and the bulkiness of her kicks, I just cannot cosign this!
While on her way to church with her nephew Mason, Kim Kardashian stuck to her neutral palette of black and white, but gave her look a pop with a fun braided hairstyle and Spring 2009 Yves Saint Laurent Cage Booties. These are some of my favorite shoes of all time. Hot!
Christina Milian launched her new bikini collection, Havana Nights, on the beach in Malibu. Loving her collection’s high-waist printed pants for sure. Hot!
At the TV Land Screening of The Soul Man in LA, Tamar Braxton combined textures in a white jersey draped dress and lace bow-detailed pumps.
Dania Ramirez looked red-carpet ready in a silver mini dress and crystal-embellished sandals while partying in Vegas for the premiere of her new film, Premium Rush. Work Dania!
Like sister Kim, Khloe Kardashian also kept it neutral in black and white while promoting her and hubby Lamar’s “Unbreakable” fragrance at the Kardashian Khaos boutique in Vegas. For the occasion, she paired a Helmut Lang Leather Sleeve Jacket with $195 Helmut Lang Bar Skinny Jeans, and $1,695 Giuseppe Zanotti Suede Wave Sandals.
Zoe Saldana kept it casual in a polka dot print blouse, $218 Citizens of Humanity Rocket High Rise Skinny Jeans, and nude flats while out and about in Beverly Hills. Cute!
I’m starting to think that Jessica Alba has every pair of Current/Elliott Stiletto Jeans ever made! She paired the $198 Floral Print Stiletto Jeans (yes in a different shade from last week) with a pair of Surface to Air wedges.
Mindy Kaling looked positively adorable at The Hollywood Reporter’s celebration of her new TV show, The Mindy Project. She paired a $268 Equipment Python Print Blouse with a $218 Tracy Reese Black and Ecru Scallop Turnlock Cardigan, a Dannijo necklace, $495 Milly Delphine Leather Flared Skirt, and Jerome C. Rousseau sandals. Hot!

Sorry not feeling Mindy’s look! Too much going on and it makes her look like a sausage. If she or her stylist would have removed the jacket. The look would have been more refined.

My fave is Kim look. I like the dress. Everyone else I like a piece of the look not the whole look. Mindy look is looking slightly frumpy and makes her look heavier than she is.

Azealia is alway s a thumbs down for me, Rih nd her friend looks comfortable nd cute. Kim has those dam sandals I want lol. Christina, Zoe and jessica look cute as usual!!
