On a list that also features Beyoncé, and fashion elites Anna Wintour, and Diane von Furstenberg, Winfrey reigned supreme. They cite her as being the “queen of media” , and says that although her OWN network has struggled in the past, “this year it secured a deal with Comcast to earn subscriber fees and increase the number of households that carry it to $83 million”. Her interviews with big name celebs like Lady Gaga, and Rihanna certainly didn’t harm her cause either. So in case you were wondering, yes, she’s STILL #winning. (Forbes)
• While collective cinephiles (myself included) are still coping with the disappointment of ”The Great Gatsby” release date being pushed back to Summer 2013, fashion lovers (again, myself included), can rejoice at the news that Miuccia Prada will be designing the costumes for the Baz Luhrmann directed film. @yusufswifee Yep, I’ve seen Eyes Wide Shut. I was more so referring to her general image. It’s not every month we see her like this, especially at this stage of her career. And, LOL, I’m a lot older than you think, truuust me. :)

D’Angelo looks better here than he did at the Awards. Yet my sister saw him in the Netherlands Jazz fest this summer and said he’s lost it and even got Boo’ed. So sad!

So I guess everyone is just going to ignore the fact that the photo used for the Uptown cover of D’Angelo is actually the EXACT same photo that was printed months ago in GQ Magazine. It was the photo on the table of contents page. Smh
