Moments ago, Nicki Minaj made good on her promise to her ever faithful Barbz, and took to Twitter to unveil her very first fragrance. Aptly named “Pink Friday”, the bottle appears to be the upper half of a mannequin, decked out in Minaj’s signature pink wig and a “Nicki Minaj” gold necklace.
The rapstress, who is currently in talks to be the next judge on American Idol, engaged in a little Q&A with her fans, and revealed a few more details. According to Nicki, the fragrance smells like “angels playing”, and will be available for purchase by the end of September.

The bottle is scary looking and her fragrance will probably smell like all the others – fruity with a hint of vanilla. But kudos to Nicki for expanding her “brand”.

I like the bottle…it is different and if I were a fan I would definitely pick it up, but I am not so I’ll pass. Havent bought a fragrance in a while…will probably go for Tom Ford’s Black orchid – yum!

It will smell frutty-bubblegumish (think Pink Sugar, Taylor Swift’s Wonderstruck, and all the mainstrean celebrity fragrance mess). What a scary bottle!

I’m a Nicki Minaj fan and I don’t like the bottle design at all. But yes, it is very Nicki. As we know she’s one to do things diffrently and beyond what we would’ve thought of. Anywho I will sniff a store sample to see how it smells and if it smells good I will definitely buy it. I’m a sucker for fragrances no matter the bottle design
