Happy Thursday everyone!
I’m missing the London 2012 Olympic Games a bit, but I’ve been filling the void with work and going to the gym!
A smattering of celebrities were out this week partying in New York, London, and everywhere in between. No one went particularly glam, but there were definitely some interesting looks.
Let’s get into it shall we?
Rihanna arrived in Tokyo and she kept it casual while walking through the airport in a leather cap, Versace Palace Tee, denim, Jordans, and her favorite $895 Gucci USA GG Flag Collection Boston Bag.
Graphic tees were clearly big for the week because Common also wore one while on his way inside the Good Morning America studios in NYC. Men in camo pants are my weakness!
Over in London, Jourdan Dunn tried on some curls for size at the Olympic Celebration Dinner. Hot!
Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union were also in London, getting their party on at The Roundhouse. Dwyane kept it casual in a denim jacket, colored skinnies and high-top sneakers while Gabby went for all-black in a strong-shoulder jacket and a wide-leg jumpsuit.
The beautiful Sanaa Lathan worked it at the Sirius Satellite Studios in the Big Apple in a printed wrap dress and pointed toe pumps. Hot!
Jordin Sparks made a statement at The Today Show in NYC in a printed Nicole Miller Artelier dress and nude pumps. I cannot wait to see Sparkle this weekend!
Usher was spotted at the Apollo in the Hamptons “A Night of Legends” Event in East Hampton, NY. Loving his leather sleeve tee and red sneakers.
Chris Brown was spotted walking around the streets of NYC in a striped polo and khaki cargo pants. A nice change from his jeggings in my opinion!
Terry Crews and his wife Rebecca were on hand at the premiere of his new film The Expendables 2 in Hollywood. They’re an amazing looking couple.
At the X Factor Conference in London, Nicole Scherzinger opted for classic femininity in a white v-neck sheath and nude peep-toe ankle strap pumps. Pretty!
Ozwald Boateng loves colorblocking and tried the trend while on the red carpet at the Fashion For Relief Charity Dinner in London.
Camila Alves opted for a sleek LBD at the NYLON Guys and Macy’s Inc. September Issue Party. Can you believe she’s pregnant? She looks fantastic!
Last, but not least was Jaden Smith who is growing up so quickly! You know he loves prints and he threw on orange and black leopard skinnies while in Calabasas, California. I’d love him if I were about a decade younger.

Gabby is always so boring. She always looks fine but is a total snoozefest. I like Sanaa’s dress. Any idea where it is from? And Nicole looks great.

I actually like Gabrielle Union’s outfit. The blazer, gold accent jewelry and oversize clutch is cute. She looks very age appropriate.
Umm….Camila where’s that baby? She looks amazing.
I never seen a man wear color block before so I really like how Ozwald Boateng did it with the teal shirt and wine blazer. He could have also used a teal shirt with a brown blazer but overall he looks nice. Love a man in a suit!!
Jaden looks just like his papa. He is growing up. And last, Usher in red sneakers..o__o. Nuff said…

I agree with Naynay Ozwald snatched Jamie Foxx to the heavens at Oscar’s and he’s is blocking the mess outta his fit above! Him adn Tom Ford are my fav men’s wear with John Varvartos. Don’t like Jordan’s red-ended locks she keeps messing with the perfection that is her hair. I expect more from Nicole Scherzinger she is incredibly beautiful but her style is often blah. CB and Usher look like they are borrowing each others clothes. Becca Crews boobies look huge n hanging in that dress but I love her. Sanaa looks fab while her bff Gabs not so much she looks older in this outfit and we all know she’s cougaring with DWade but let’s not look like shall we?? Lol!!

Sigh…Rihanna again? For what specifically as it pertains to this post? You guys would find a way to include her even if she wore a black Glad trash bag. Jourdan looks great. Love her dress. Both Jordin and Nicole are soo adorable. Love them. They’re cutie pies. Sanaa looks great. Chris Brown looks nice. Dwayne – he and his stylist are trying TOO hard to be different. Fashion fail all around for him.

Seriously, I’m so tired of Rihanna being placed on these blogs. Yes, she does have fashionable moments, whether we love or hate them. However, to honestly throw her on here just because she wore some tshirt and jeans (and OH! let’s not forget the typical label whore’s designer bag), is disrespectful to the words “style” and “fashion” as a whole. Seriously, just because it’s Rihanna doesn’t make it right. If that’s the case, why not put more pictures of Solange in here? Her style is casual but still fun and outgoing. You all are so disappointing.
Also, if Chris Brown wasn’t a celebrity, you wouldn’t give him a second look in that ill-fitting outfit. Let’s not do it now either.

The title of this post is “This Week In Chic”. Do you ever stop to think that the celebrities posted here were maybe the only ones spotted out and about?
Sounds like there’s another underlying issue as to why you are mad, lol. While I don’t care to much for her shirt (or bag), she is killing that leather cap, red lip, and cat-eye sunglasses.
