• Just three months after filing for bankruptcy, Betsey Johnson is making her triumphant return to fashion, this time launching a dress line in collaboration with The Levy Group. The line will feature “solid and printed, sexy, flowing dresses,” with prices ranging from an affordable $99 to a more expensive $249– about the same price range as her namesake label. A little surprised at the failure to research before posting. Madewell is a division of the J. Crew Group; it makes perfect sense that Solange would be a spokesmodel if she is friends with Lyons.

I’m so proud of Solange. This is really wonderful news and she deserves it. Furthermore, I saw one of the dresses from Betsey Johnson’s line and I’m not a fan at all.
