H&M is coming to the Dirty South. The fast fashion retailer plans to open two flagships in Miami, which should make future H&M designer collaboration launches very interesting in South Florida. H&M also plans to open about 20 more stores in the “West, Southwest, Southeast and South Central regions” of the country. (Racked)

• Models Coco Rocha, Karolina Kurkova, and noted handsome man fashion photographer Nigel Barker will join Naomi Campbell for the upcoming reality modeling competition, The Face. While Karolina and Coco will serve as contestant coaches, Barker will host alongside Ms. Campbell. (Modelina)

eBay is now an official sponsor of the BFC’s Fashion Forward program, Britain’s initiative to help emerging designers develop their brands. If you remember, this year’s Fashion Forward winners include Henry Holland, Louise Gray, and my girl Mary Katrantzou. Along with monetary support, eBay and the BFC will collaborate on projects, including  Save The Children’s upcoming #bidboutique. (Vogue UK)

• Please enjoy this clip of Roberto Cavalli making a signature cocktail with his very own brand of vodka for Purple Magazine. The legendary designer is accompanied by a tropical parrot (naturally), and expertly mixes a drink for himself and his “beautiful girlfriend,” who alas, does not make an appearance in the clip. Gisele Bundchen was spotted on the beach in Costa Rica sporting quite a round tummy. While her pregnancy hasn’t been confirmed, it looks like there’s a baby in that belly. Or, you know, she could have had a big lunch. I’ve never been pregnant, and my stomach somehow manages to maintain a similar shape. :) (Daily Mail)

• Swimwear brand Dolores Cortés USA chose Valentina Guerrero, a 10-month-old girl with Down Syndrome, as the cover model for their children’s catalogue. Guerrero will also be the face of Cortés’s children’s brand, DC Kids. It’s good to see that at least some brands are making a commitment to diversity. Target and Nordstrom recently featured a young boy with Down Syndrome in one of their ads. Yay progress! (Down Syndrome Association of Miami)

• Guys, no one cares about Karl Lagerfeld anymore, because they’re all obsessed with his adorable cat Choupette. The Chanel designer told Grazia, “People are stunned by her! I’ve done stories about her with Harper’s Bazaar, V Magazine with Laticia Casta and for W Magazine. I think it’s fun. Soon people will talk more about Choupette than about me!” Stories in Harper’s Bazaar and W? Is it wrong for a human to be jealous of a cat? (Grazia)
