The CW, CBS, and Showtime are some of the biggest television networks out there and they all came together to host the 2012 Summer TCA Party at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. Some of our favorite actors and actresses showed up and showed out.
Let’s take a look at the night’s ensembles:
Tyra Banks looked every bit the supermodel! She uplifted a simple one-shoulder black dress with $1,085 Alexander McQueen Black Suede Baroque Punk Skull Peep Toe Pumps. Hot!
Taraji P. Henson kept it neutral like Tyra, but chose the opposite of the spectrum in a white v-neck seamed dress with $620 McQ Alexander McQueen Patent Brogued Wedges.
Aisha Tyler debuted new bangs and finished her ensemble with a simple white blouse, an affordable $90 Banana Republic Heritage Silver Sequin Pencil Skirt, a taupe clutch, and nude pumps. Work Aisha! With each week, she is getting better and better.
Cutouts were the trend to try for Lucy Liu who looked sexy in a $2,580 J. Mendel Techno Jersey Cutout Dress from the brand’s Fall 2012 collection.
Tanika Ray went trendy in a strapless peplum bustier and leopard print skinnies. Hmm…this could have been done better for sure. A pair of white skinnies and nude pumps would have rounded out the look in a nice way.
Last, but not least was Gayle King who went bright in green open-toe sandals and a $298 Anthropologie Revisited Impressionist Dress. I love the color!

No to Gail’s dress. Aisha’s outfit is cool but the wig/bang situation is tragic. She needed to train that hair to lay right before she slapped it on her head. Looking like a wig head from the beauty supply store with a ratty wig on top.

I love the looks except Tanika Ray’s she’s red-carpet-ready on top, day-at-the-mall on the bottom. But her hair looks gorg as usual.

taraji looked square & shapeless in her dress, tanika just looked busted through & through, gail looked like an old lady w/that outfit, aisha looked cute, but a bit plain, but tyra & lucy looked fierce.

tanika ray usually does a good job, BUT….. the look is too young and casual (not to mention ill-fitting ) and i agree on Tarij, love her, BUT… the dress is not flattering to her athletic figure, and i LOVED her hair shorter

Up close Tyra’s hair (in particular dem edges) and make-up were not the business. But she is gorgeous nonetheless.
Lucy Liu never disappoints.
Tamika is too pretty for this outfit. The combo dusty-bbq in Brooklyn outdoors-brown wedges and neon nail polish made the whole look very cheap.
