Our First Lady Michelle Obama is in London, attending a reception hosted by the Queen for the world’s heads of state before they are whisked away to the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games. We are accustomed to seeing her in colorblock looks, but for this occasion, she chose a white viscose techno crepe tailored jacket with overlapped side panels and silver embroidery from J. Mendel’s Resort 2013 Collection, as well as an ivory silk satin faced chiffon pleated skirt from the brand:
