Solange Knowles was spotted in NYC visiting her older sister King Bey at a recording studio in Midtown Manhattan. The DJ tried to contain her excitement over her sister’s latest musical endeavors in a coral t-shirt, denim vest, and a $425 J.Crew Collection Neon Stripe Skirt. She finished her look with a pair of her beloved $390 Miu Miu gold glitter sunnies, $750 Ralph Lauren Collection Sherene Sandals, and a circular raffia colorblock tote.
Her acetate and metal cat eye sunglasses have long been sold out in the gold colorway, but there are several other versions available on the Miu Miu website.
Her J.Crew skirt is now on sale for a still expensive $199, if you fancy this exact piece.
Her shoes are also currently on sale for a still expensive $225, and feature a block heel, knotted stitched details, and an ankle strap.
I am usually an unabashed fan of Solo’s looks, and while this one has some cute elements (get into those lace-up sandals!), I think the denim vest buttoned to the hilt is throwing me off. Otherwise, I’d say Princess Knowles-Beyincé-Deréon is looking pretty darn cute.

I wasn’t moved by the skirt when I saw it recently in person but Solange makes its work. Still wouldn’t buy it for that price though. Now her shoes are the business!!

It’s the denim vest buttoned up that throws the look into hmmm…. The shape is boxy, so with a full skirt it doesn’t work. If she had left it open with a belt over it to give it shape, it would have been hot. Shame as I normally love her looks.

I feel the same @melisa. Although, I LOVE the shoes, this look didn’t really need a post, imo. Afterall, Solo was just going to the studio to write songs for her sister. It’s not a red carpet look or anything special and why should it be? She’s just chilling. Just because she’s “Solange” doesn’t mean she doesn’t have “just put this on to go chill with my sister”days. Celebrities are people too. How many ppl really get all dressed up for a day inside (iin this case a studio building) with their family? If you caught me going to meet up with any of my relative that early in the morning, I’d still be wearing PJs and slippers, so Solo did pretty good here, lol.

Solange always wears really interesting and fun out fits but some how no matter how bold the look she always just ends up looking really boring. I don’t know why that is but she makes things look uninteresting.
