Daphne Guinness auctioned off a portion of her wardrobe last night, and made a lot more money than expected. The beer heiress amassed over $741,137 thanks in part to the generous patronage of Lady Gaga. A frothy, empire waist gown from Alexander McQueen went for over $132,000, way more than the $24-$29,000 estimate. A photograph of Guinness taken by Mario Testino went for a cool $207,123, a new record for the photographer. All $741,137 will benefit Guinness’s Isabella Bow Foundation. (Vogue UK)

• Back in March, Sarah Jessica Parker let it slip that she would be making her return to the fashion world, but kept tight-lipped on exactly what she would be doing.
