Rashida Jones made her rounds at the Los Angeles Film Festival, attending the afterparty for Celeste and James Forever at the Luxe Hotel. The Our Idiot Brother actress kept it fashion-forward in a pair of strappy sandals and a dress from Joseph Altuzarra‘s critically acclaimed Fall 2012 collection.
The frock features a plunging draped V-neck and silver marbled ivory skirt, with a nipped, coin-adorned waist. It made its debut on the runway underneath a large, chunky sweater and black booties.
Since it’s, well, summer, Ms. Jones decided against the full runway look. I *love* this look on Rashida! First off, I was obsessed with this entire collection, and I’m glad to see celebs rocking it already. Though I would have liked to see Ms. Jones in an even more show stopping look from this collection, I’m not complaining! The look is hot as is!

* Rashida’s father, the legendary Quincy Jones was also in attendance, along with funny man Andy Samberg. How cute does Ms. Jones look with her daddy? Also, why is he wearing a mesh tank over a button down and a weird skinny scarf? You know Rashida’s like, “Dad, you’re totally embarrassing me in front of my friends right now!”
I forgive him, he’s a sophisticated, super-accomplished man. He’s not here for the fashion set! I can respect that!

putting on a fab dress doesn’t make you fabulous. You have to accessorize and wear it with confidence. Here is a prime example of something fabulous being brought down because of who is wearing it.

She is a pretty woman, but she somehow always looks so “washed out”. Not sure what is missing. Perhaps a haircut and some blush?

Rashida has no sense of style whatsoever. No matter what fabulous piece she may or may not be wearing, she manages to ruin it w/her awful hair and makeup and complete lack of accessories.

You are all wrong. It looks amazing because it is on her. She doesn’t need makeup or accessories because all you should be doing is looking at her face. She is simply THE most delightful creature on planet earth; this is objective fact. Rashida is you read this call me.
