Hello Fashionbomb,
My hubby is an amazing father, not only to his own children, but also as the unofficial father to all the neighborhood kids (which can have an adverse effect on the contents of my refrigerator, but that is a different post). He is transitioning from entrepreneur to working with the city to increase minority business contracts and to further integrate the city workforce, so he needs a new professional wardrobe that doesn’t compromise his personal style. He’s a big guy, so finding the right shirts that are classic with unique details, has been a challenge.
I created this design because he loves gingham checks and banker’s collars. The black and white is classic and would look great with many of his bowties- but if he wanted to wear it more casual, the piping and contrast inside pattern are great details.

Hey hey FBD! My husband Dedrick is the best husband, father, and friend anyone woman could ask for. Out side of being a stand up type of guy and father, Dedrick also coaches basketball and mentors at risk young black men in our area on the weekends. He’s been my rock for 10 years and I would love to be able to surprise him with something like this. My hubby deserves to win this contest because he is hardest working man that I know. He has sacrificed so much for me and our son. We had our son at a young age but he managed to work to provide for us so that we can live a comfortable life and he graduated from high school with honors. He also worked to put himself , and me through college, which we both graduated last year. He has been running his own business for a few years and he works so hard trying to make sure that eveyone else is ok that he rarely does things for himself. Thats why I had to enter this contest. His job requires him to wear button downs and where we live its hard to find decent clothing so its a struggle. He’s only 28 so being a young black business owner you have to present yourself in the right way to be taken seriously. And winning these shirts would help big time.
I created a shirt that he can wear to work and to play because he’s a young man and sometimes he like to hang with his boys on Friday nights.

he is pensioner
i just left work to take care of parents both 78 and sick

Hey FBD, my father is the special man in my life who I believe could really benefit from receiving great, custom shirts. He has sacrificed so much to allow me the opportunity to follow my dreams, and I could never repay or thank him enough for all of his support and contributions. In result of him sacrificing many of his needs, as well as his wants, he has not been able to invest in different items for the different settings he’s always in. Whether it’s for business, or pleasure, he would be able to wear these shirts, due to their versatility. My husband deserves a great fathers day gift and these shirts would be an oh so special present for him. We’ve been married for two years and have a two year old, you can do the math on that, lol. I appreciate him and all he does for our family. He works 2 hours away as a salesman and is also starting his own handmade bow-tie business. Even with all that going he makes sure to spend time with our daughter when he gets home from a long days work. I feel that customized shirts to go along with his handmade bow ties would be the icing on the cake when he goes on sales calls. Thanks
