Solange Knowles attended Stella McCartney’s Resort 2013 presentation yesterday in what else? A Stella McCartney Spring 2012 paisley printed dress:
She finished her look off with her trademark afro, kohl rimmed eyes, and a berry lip.
Gorgeous!
While the look was modeled with nude sandals, Solange opted for a nude pedicure and black buckled sandals.
At this point, do we even have to say it? This look is hot and spot on for a casually chic event!

I love it this is one of the prettiest pics I’ve seen of her and her makeup is very pretty. I’m not crazy about the hair though. IMHO it could use a good shape up.

I love this look. Solange really knows how to dress for her body and has a unique sense of style. She can pull things off that alot of women can’t.

I understand the critiques being made on Solange’s hair. If you look closely, notice how the front of her hair is matted, while the back (near her nape), is in a defined corkscrew pattern. I have heard of her annoyance with twist-outs, but in this particular case, I consider it NECESSARY to create evenness in her hair: either all matted, or all in a defined curl pattern, Could you imagine a White female with a blow-out in the front portion of her hair, and Shirley Temple ringlets in the back? Not a good look.

@Licorice – not everyone’s hair is uniform curl pattern throughout. much like Solange I have ringlets in the back and tighter curls in the rest of my head. i just go with what my hair wants to do. fighting is just too hard.

I understand the lack of uniformity natural hair brings, but solange needs a good shape for her mane.
