How was your Memorial Day Weekend everyone? Mine was full of food, friends, and dancing! I even ran into Claire at the Do-Over Party in BK after sundown.
This weekend, the 2012 Cannes Film Festival came to a close and the ladies went out with a bang! Beyoncé is back and she held four shows at Revel Resort & Casino in Atlantic City. There were also a number of other celebrities out and about, taking advantage of the holiday and the heat.
Let’s get into this weekend’s looks!
At her concerts at Revel Resort & Casino in Atlantic City, Beyoncé rocked a series of custom designs by Ralph & Russo. Above, she gave her glam look a pop of color with Stuart Weitzman Mary Jane Pumps. Hot!
Jennifer Lopez wore a long-sleeve white and gold sequin dress from Zuhair Murad’s Fall 2012 collection and accessorized with a gold clutch and $3,395 Christian Louboutin Pigalle Strass Pumps. Work J.Lo!
Let’s head to Cannes shall we? Sonam Kapoor opted for romance at the Closing Ceremony and Therese Desqueyroux Premiere at the Film Festival in a tulle-embroidered gown from Alexander McQueen’s Pre-Fall 2012 collection, fully equipped with a high-neck and long sheer sleeves. Her red lips and nails gave the dark look some color. This is beyond stunning! It is quite covered for such a young and vibrant actress, but it is hauntingly beautiful.
At the Mud Premiere in Cannes, Camila Alves completely shut the red carpet down in a strapless silver gown with a beaded bodice and ruffled skirt from Marchesa’s Fall 2012 collection. I nearly fainted! This look is perfect from head to toe and is definitely one of my favorite from the Film Festival. Beyond chic!
Teyana Taylor was also spotted at Cannes at the Cruel Summer Premiere. She chose a long white gown with a plunging v neckline and gold accessories for a splash of metallic. She looks beautiful! Teyana’s body is totally on point and she played it up here without exposing too much skin.
In Paris, Eva Longoria went totally glam at the Global Gift Gala by Sheeva at the Hotel George V. She wore a long-sleeve beaded gown from Reem Acra’s Fall 2012 collection and pulled her hair into a ponytail to let her dress play centerstage. Hot!
Toni Braxton wore the night’s color at the 12th Annual Lupus LA Orange Ball in Beverly Hills. Her sequin gown featured a high-neck showing just a peek of skin with a keyhole. She is working this dress, but that hair is a hmm…I’d love to see a pixie cut on her again!
Malinda Williams looked cute at Director Je’Caryous Johnson’s 35th Birthday Celebration in the Hollywood Hills. Her striped blouse and wedges are great for warm weather, though a cropped jean would have been better than cuffed: they take away from the easy silhouettes in her ensemble.
Trina definitely channeled her inner rockstar while heading to Harlem Nights Ultra Lounge in Atlanta. She rocked a sequin cropped Kurt Cobain tee with denim and sky-high Christian Louboutin Daffodile Pumps. Cute!
Jessica White and Shontelle went formal at Jessica White’s 3rd Annual Angel Wings Foundation Dinner. I do like Shontelle’s gown, but wished she would have pulled her hair into a sleek chignon or ponytail to show it off, as well as ditching those earrings! Jessica is just a hmm…not at all inspired by her looks of late.
The Land Down Under was the move for Nicole Richie for her House of Harlow 1960 Launch in Sydney at David Jones Elizabeth Street. She went hippie chic in a red fedora, $542 Vanessa Bruno Crepe Cropped Blazer, $230 Enza Costa Polka Dot Tank, leather pants, black suede pumps, and a $147 House of Harlow 1960 Hayden Fringe Clutch. I would have preferred leather skinnies here, but I like the look!
Jessica Alba layered it on while outside her offices in Santa Monica. She wore a $288 French Connection Connie Crepe Jacket with a floral tank, pink skinnies, green wayfarers, and $1,045 Sartore Studded Strap Ankle Boots. Green sunnies are not my cup of tea, but I do like the rest of the ensemble.
Last, but not least was Kourtney Kardashian who looked relaxed and chic while out and about with her family in Malibu. I am loving her Rachel Roy dress and her $640 Emilio Pucci Metallic Leather Sandals!
