Janet Jackson was spotted on the red carpet at Marco Glaviano’s “Supermodels” exhibition opening at the Keszler Gallery in York City. She paired a gold embroidered Alexander McQueen jacket from the Resort 2012 collection with denim and sky-high booties:
She kept the rest of her look minimal: no jewelry, a fresh face and her sleek hair pushed back off of her face. Flawless!

Yes Janet! I will admit, a little piece of me died thinking that such a gorgeous jacket could just be paired with denim, but it looks good here.

I like the look and the spin. There appears to be something special about that denim.. from the pic, it looks like they graduate from denim to another, darker material on the bottom (maybe a coating.. hmm..) either way I think it’s different and a nice touch instead of a black trouser or another predictable piece.

Hate the hair, jeans, lip color, and boots. It’s just way too heavy and dark for Spring. I love the jacket but she styled this all wrong.

No Faith, this jacket does not look good paired with jeans. I love anything Alexander McQueen by the way, that jacket is hot! The jeans look a little too casual though. I like like the neutral makeup, she looks so fresh-faced and just like Michael.

The boots aren’t knee high..that’s just a silhouette…but I agree the jeans should have been a darker wash or even a nice skinny leg trouser would’ve worked…still beautiful though

I love the jacket just not paired with those jeans. I think I just don’t like the wash of them. Maybe if they were completely black?? I don’t really like the boots either. So I am going to have to say hmmmm….but the jacket is still gorgeous!!
