It was a relatively slow week, though a number of celebs still brought their A-game in the style department. From old school Jordans to flirty check-print dresses, they really ran the gamut from casual to red carpet-ready ensembles.
Check out this week’s hottest looks:
Aisha Tyler looked amazing in a navy off-the-shoulder sequin dress. I would have loved a black clutch with this look, but it doesn’t take away from it in the slightest. Work Aisha!
Rita Ora loves her some Jordans and she rocked a pair with a navy and black look. Her beloved Chanel bag added a pop of color and her hair and makeup were on point, as usual. I really like the fact that she is a sneakerhead at heart and this ensemble gets a thumbs up from me.
Rick Ross raps about fashion in virtually every song and now he is designing his own clothing line: a Big & Tall collection for Reebok. While out in New York City after a press conference announcing the news among his other business deals, he looked pretty fresh in pieces from his upcoming line. I see you Rick!
Jessica White truly made an entrance at the Dream Big! The Jacob’s Cure 2012 Gala in NYC. She went full-on Vegas showgirl in a colorblock sequin gown that showed more than the necessary dose of leg. You guys be the judge.
Kourtney Kardashian looked positively adorable at the 2012 E! Upfront in a Gomez-Gracia Mia Dress and bright accessories. I am living for her pink patent pumps!
Naya Rivera kept it polished in a two-tone white and black long-sleeve mini dress. It’s the most classic color palette in the world and she looks great here.
Naya’s co-star, Amber Riley, was alongside her at the TV Academy’s Special Screening of Glee in North Hollywood. Amber went for a casual look in denim. It’s amazing to see how much tailoring can do for a dressed down look, though her ensemble was in stark contrast to the night’s more red carpet-ready outfits.
Michelle Williams opted for a feminine wrap dress at the Black American Princess School of Charming Inaugural Tea in Chicago. Everything about her ensemble was ladylike, though I would have preferred a fun shoe to uplift this a bit.
Maya Rudolph looked great in a textured LBD at the 2012 Comedy Awards in New York City. If the sleeves were shortened just a tad, this would have been perfect! This is one of the best outfits she has worn in my opinion.
Eva Mendes chose prints in a dress from Honor’s Spring 2012 collection and accessorized with Jimmy Choo Lance Sandals while at the Girl in Progress screening in Los Angeles. Definitely one of my favorite looks of the week!
At the Desperate Housewives Series Finale Party, Eva Longoria went for affordability in an Ann Taylor mini dress. Cute! The pumps were expected and she could have chosen a pair with a little more pizazz, but she is working this color.
Last, but not least was Audra McDonald who wore a pink form-fitting dress at the 2012 Tony Awards “Meet the Nominees” Press Reception in New York City. Gorg! Her body is inspiring this weekend’s run for sure.
