Think Like A Man’s Gabrielle Union attended InStyle‘s Dinner With a Designer event, rocking a look from the night’s honoree, $1,595 Jason Wu. She chose a gray, black, and white floral printed dress from the designer’s Spring 2012 collection, adding a black belt and $895 Valentino Rockstud platform pumps.
Her dress is 100% cotton, has an A-line silhouette, scoop neck, and slim shoulder straps.

Her super sexy Valentino pumps have a peachy contrasting studded trim, 5.25″ heel with a 1.50″ platform.

Obviously, the dress and shoes are fabulous, but it seems that 90% of the time Gabrielle bets on black. I would have loved to see a shot of color, like a chartreuse shoe or clutch. It would have enlivened the whole look. Anyhow, if you like her ‘fit, you can get all the pieces here:

This is not a good look for Gabby. The dress is bland, does nothing for her shape, and those shoes do not match. She’s too pretty for this!

Gabby is not a fashion plate, but she always looks beautiful and true to her own sense of style. I actually think that’s kinda cool. I prefer that to someone trying too hard and getting it wrong (side eye to Beyonce and Lala).
