Her dress appeared on the brand’s Spring 2012 runway, and features the house’s signature banded design, along with well placed cut outs:
Her simple leather open toe two-piece sandals have metal panels at the back and a thin adjustable ankle strap.
Yet another near flawless look. She has the body for that dress and she’s werqing it!

Dresses like this never impress me on a woman that has a 40 something year old face. The dress is BAD! and her body is sick, but the dress doesn’t match the old looking woman that’s wearing it. She could have gotten away with this dress if it showed less skin in the midsection.

I’m clocking out!! She knows how to shut it down and when she does, I hit a minnie praise break lol. I know she stays in the gym, but she’s also extremely strict with what she eats. In interviews she said that she doesn’t drink coffee, alcohol, and limits sugary and processed food. It shows. I need her discipline, cause lord to have that body at 42!

Don’t get me wrong. I love love love me some J. Lo, and she can rock the hell out of a tight, form-fitting dress….but this gets a meh from me. I don’t know whether it’s the hair, the occasion (during a FAMILY show), or the dress (not a huge fan of the color, looks a bit “futuristic/sci-fi-ish), but I’ve definitely seen better.
I think I would have LOVED this in a different color, with her hair pulled up into a bun, and on the red carpet.

Model looks better. Actors are not meant to be beautiful, if they were, they’d be models, they wouldn’t be acting, which is work, sometimes often degrading work like doing nudity or sex scenes. Models are beautiful, actors/normal people can be just cute or pretty. Unfortunately for J Lo, she is neither, being just average, w/ an average women’s height, weight, shape, and face. The J Lo’s and the Beyonce’s of society serve a purpose, and that is to give the average woman someone to look up to and identify with. Average people love hailing the average celebrity as ‘beautiful’ and ‘wonderful’ b/c they believe that if they say that Beyonce and Jenny Lopez are beautiful with their short , chunky bodies and fake hair and greasy complexions, that they (who share similar flaws), must also be beautiful. If regular women had only supermodels to idolize, they’d kill themselves. It’s just too unbearable. So, these mediocre celebrities do serve a purpose. They are there for the masses. But don’t expect someone who is truly good looking, or knows better, to swallow this crap.
