Solange Knowles continued her DJ’ing duties last night at Salvatore Ferragamo’s Fifth Avenue Flagship Re-Opening in New York City. For the occasion, the artist slipped on a Ferragamo suit and heels (natch), topped by a head of bouncy curls:
She accented the look with a printed top by Maki Oh.

I love the colors of the collection, and adore this look! Her hair only adds to the ensemble’s fun essence.

I like the color blocking but it’s the shirt she’s wearing underneath that’s throwing me off. Maybe if she went for a solid cami or blouse it would have worked. But with her hair, color blocking, and a patterned blouse…she’s doing the most.

Love the ankle length red (raw silk?) pants I just purchased some ankle length pants in bright green and can’t wait to wear them. I don’t like anything else about the outfit- but keep showing Solange’s ‘fits she is fearless and I like that!

i actually think the patterned shirt serves to temper the severity of the color blocking. there are a lot of women walking around looking like punky brewster because they go overboard with every article of clothing a solid different color. her outfit is hot.
(i cant cosign on the hair hat, she looks like amadeus mozart…)
