Fergie Ferg recently celebrated her birthday at 1Oak in Las Vegas in the same $2,395 Givenchy Printed Sleeveless Dress Lala Anthony wore last week to do promotional rounds in New York.
While Lala skewed colorful in $995 Christian Louboutin Summerissima Sandals, a pink lip, and slick bun, Fergie went for subdued, rocking the printed frock with loose tendrils, black pointed toe pumps, and a compact black clutch.
The dress, from the brand’s Resort 2012 collection, was originally modeled by Joan Smalls with a belt, visor, an orange clutch, and matching printed shoes:
Hmm…I like how Lala took a risk with her footwear, though I’m not sure I would have chosen that particular pair to accent the dress. And Fergie’s accessories simply don’t inspire. I’d call it a draw–noone has really wow’ed me with their pairing as of yet, but if I had to choose, I’d go with Lala.

LaLa looks so boxy in this dress – she practically has no waist. Joan has the opposite issue- she’s too dry to do the dress justice.

Fergie looks better in it…I love Lalas hair…but the shoes don’t do it for me…if Fergie had a bun she would be killing…but the dress still looks better on her!!

Joan blew it out of the box, but since she really doesn’t count it’s a draw. Fergie looks old and stale, but the dress looks better on her body. LaLa looks young and fresh, but has no waist. She should have belted it like the runway look, though I would have never thought to belt it had I not seen it here…

I am not seeing this waist on fergie, the dress looks boxy on her too…shrugs i think lala pulls it off better but fergie pairs the dress with a nice shoe so it’s a split to me so joan by default

Not even close…Fergie. La La’s shoes is all types of wrong. The dress is busy enough where you don’t need accessories…and Joan can only get away with a visor on the runway or a tennis court.

I like the dress on LaLa better, but not really feeling the shoes. LaLa’s hair style is better than Fergie’s but Fergie has a cleaner look with the simple black shoe.

Joan killed it but she was modeling it. Big difference, no contest there. Lala just no… no. Something about it looks like she just she thinks shes killing it in her head but physically she missed the mark. That bun… those shoes. NO, just NO. Fergie might be aging horribly but she wore the dress better out of the 2. Simple & Sheek. Her body looks nice too & I love her hair. She brought it together nicely. I vote Fergie.

this dress should have stayed on the runway cuz it looks like sometype of weird kimono. its looks better on fergies body type but lalas shoes are better- items a tosss up!
