Rihanna’s London trip has a special purpose, as she is in the city doing some promotion for her new film “Battleship“. At the photocall for the film, she chose a halter dress from Alexander Wang’s Pre-Fall 2012 collection:
She was all smiles! Rihanna accessorized with black pumps and kept the look neutral.

I adore the fit of this dress and I think Rihanna looks great. Only thing is I would have preferred more of a statement shoe because the color of the dress leaves something to be desired.
It’s a classic style from the brand and though most Pre-Fall 2012 pieces won’t be available for a few months, the $825 Drape Back Halter Dress is a similar look.

The dress looks so much better on Rihanna than it does on the model. It’s a great dress but not worth the splurge.

I absolutely love this dress on her. It goes with her eyes. Her make up is on point. Wig on point and i think the shoes go nicely with the dress.

Rhi’s body looks killer in that dress (however it’s not in my splurge budget) but I’m soooo that her with this blonde hair. The color washes her out too much – she would look stunning with the short black do she used to sport.

The long blonde hair isn’t for her, it ages her and the heavy tan isn’t working either.

Love the dress, wish she had more of a statement shoe, and yeah the blonde is cool but I wish her hair had been pulled away from her face. She really is pretty you know :)

I surprisingly love the look. For such a simple look I think she should have gone bolder with her make-up. I’m over the blond wig though. It has to go. I do agree that a different choice of shoes would have made a better impact as black shoes are generic here. Her beloved nude Pigalle Loubies or golden ankle-strapped sandals would have flattered her gorgeously toned. I also would have loved to see her with her usual pilled-on gold chains & bangles.

She looks great, but no, I wouldn’t make the splurge… its not special enough. I also agree, a statement should would have bought the look to life… or at least a statement lip!
