Last night Omar was locked in to BET’s Rip the Runway (were you?), and immediately sent us a question after seeing Lil Kim perform. He wrote, “ Hey who is Lil’ Kim wearing on Rip the Runway?”
” Where can I get those shoes for my girl?”
The pint sized rapper took to the stage in a high shouldered sequined catsuit from L’Impasse Boutique, along with $125 Michael Antonio Lavonne Pumps.
Although we couldn’t find a picture of Lil Kim’s exact outfit, L’Impasse is known for constructing saucy pieces with sheer sides (you may remember Mashonda wore one of their dresses last year):
Kim’s cool yellow heels have a 2″ platform and 5.25″ heel.
They also come in blue, taupe, black, and pink.
The shoes are super cute and super affordable, no?

Focusing on Kim’s fashion; hated everything about it. Yes, we get it, you are the original female outgoing with the outfits rapper but step your game up if you are competing with Nikki M.

Yes Queen Bee the originator loved the performance, the ensemb and new unnecessary surgeries are a definite thumbs down. But I love this girl so much!

I didn’t see the performance but from the blogs, the consensus isn’t clear. At Necolebitchie, people were saying ‘great job’ …here..not so much. Ah well. Not a fan of the shoes, but I like the pop of color against the black ensemble.

The show and her performance was WACK!! The styling was awful and the models could NOT walk! Kim huffed and puffed and lip synced all through her “performance”! It was truly shameful!

There will always be a manufactured entertainer to take the place of an originator. With that being said I thought her shoes were really cute and the outfit probably would’ve looked better with better styling.
