• Alexander Wang is now in even more trouble than he was before. Wenyu Lu, one of the laborers in Wang’s alleged sweatshop, is filing to take his $50 million dollar lawsuit against the designer to federal court. Wang’s people maintain that the accusations brought against the designer and his brother, Dennis, are false. “The claims of sweatshop conditions were completely and utterly untrue in every respect.” (NY Post)
• Rihanna sat down with Access Hollywood to talk her sartorial proclivities, and the fact that she doesn’t care if you see her ta-tas through a sheer shirt. “If I bought it sheer, that means I’m okay with you seeing through it. Whether it was my bra or whatever else. I wear it my way. • Designer Simon Spurr has left his namesake label, hot on the heels of being nominated for CFDA Menswear designer of the year. Spurr is now the newest designer to join in on this ongoing game of fashion musical chairs. The designer said in an email that he is “not at liberty to say anything about what’s gone on,” so we’ll have to wait to see what juicy details leak out about this departure in the upcoming weeks. If there’s one thing I’ve always liked about Rihanna it’s that she does what she wants how she wants. People wouldn’t talk about her nearly as much if she wasn’t at least interesting to look at. Alexander Wang better watch out: what you do comes back to you. Venus’s line is okay looking and I like the colors but I’m not over the moon about the styles, and at this rate every designer isn’t even at liberty to tell you where they grocery shop lol. *sigh* I guess I’ll just have to wait and see.

if these sweatshop allegations are true, i hope alexander wang pays through the nose. it’s despicable to exploit people that way.
