Is Alicia Keys on the road to becoming fashion’s new darling? Well her Fall 2012 Paris Fashion Week track record has me convinced! She was spotted at Chanel in a slew of the brands pieces: a pearl headpiece from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection and a sleeveless blazer and wide-leg pants from the Resort 2012 collection:
She pulled her hair back into a sleek chignon and kept her makeup natural in order to let her pearl headpiece play centerstage.
Alicia looks stunning! We know she loves a headpiece: from her wedding to her star-studded birthday parties, she loves the accessory and here she has totally done it right. I love the simplicity of this look and clearly Chanel is a good fit. Let’s hope she embraces the brand more this year.

I don’t understand the headpiece. If she’d omitted that and added some bracelets, a cocktail ring and maybe a pop of color in the form of a minaudière… maybe I could live with this look.

While she looks great, her outfit and her make up I just feel like that headpiece did nothing for her. It’s just some metal on her face and its distracting. No bueno.
