Santigold was spotted at the 2012 NME Awards in London. She went totally bold in true Santigold fashion and rocked a denim patchwork jacket, white tee shirt and printed skinnies with a $375 Burberry Woven Straw Peak Cap and $1295 Chloé Susan Studded Ankle Boots:
Her woven straw hat features a contrast pom-pom and a 2″ brim.

Santigold always goes bold and I love that about her. Her Chloé boots have been high atop my splurge list for years and they would look really killer with an all-black look. Her hat is super cute, but it doesn’t add anything to her ensemble unfortunately.

Don’t like anything about this. I guess the boots would be cute worn another way but can’t picture it with all the rest in the pic. And why that hat at all much less for $375???? Nothing goes with anything else in the outfit. I guess I am old school in liking my outfits to be cohesive lol…

The women in my country (Dominica) and pretty much all over the West Indies make straw hats like that. You can buy them at the market on saturday for about $20 E.C.
