Though American Idol is a talent competition, I can’t help tuning in to see what Jennifer Lopez will be wearing. On the latest episode, she rocked a $695 Valentino Organza Ruffle Detail Top and $850 Valentino Cady Shorts with $1195 Christian Louboutin Balota Glitter Platform Sandals:
Her sleeveless jersey top has a layered, oversized organza ruffle sweep at the shoulder and back.

Her shorts boast a high-waist silhouette and center creases for a tailored look.

Last, but not least are her sold-out pumps which feature 5 3/4″ heels and glitter embellishment.
Can you say fab? I am literally drooling! I can’t wait until it gets warmer so I can try this (or something similar) out.

I would’ve picked a slightly less baggy short but she’s in her 40′s with 2 kids so she can’t walk around in daisy dukes. Plus, she has a round bottom. Those shoes…my goodness!

a quick glance and the look is cute…if I take a longer look and notice the actual details of the pieces…no bueno…the pieces don’t go together…the shorts look way to casual for the top and shoes…not big fan of the makeup either

The look doesn’t fit her 40 year old face. There is a time in all womens lifes where we may still have a nice body, but our faces no longer look youthful. She should have worn a pair of pants or a pencil skirt. If she looked younger, I would have loved the outfit on her.
