Rihanna is no stranger to eccentric fashion and with the release of Talk That Talk, we have seen her take on a very London punk-inspired style while out and about. It was only fitting for her to go this route while out and about in London and she did so with a very edgy ensemble taken to the next level with $130 Underground Camaro Lace Up Creepers:
Her leather creepers feature double platform soles and d-ring lace up closures.
To be honest, this is the Rihanna I love. The one who pushes style boundaries and commits to trying a different look. I’m not sure if I am bold enough to rock creepers (not the double sole versions at least), but they’re definitely cool.

This isn’t pushing fashion boundaries, It’s just copying the old fashion of yore! And if she wants to wear these old styles, that’s fine, but I’m not gonna praise her for it….all you have to do is look on the streets to see a whole bunch of kids (London, Boston, San Fran) with similar shoes on.

LOVE the shoes. I have creepers, but they’re not leather like these. I will be checking them out. I wouldn’t have paired them with shorts like she did, but it’s Rih so lol… I think people need to be more open, appreciative and respectful of different styles. Not liking someone’s personal style is one thing, but to call them names & such because you wouldn’t rock what they are wearing is just nasty and uncalled for. It’s fashion people. Many of you would not last a day in this business…

I so don’t get the hate for this look. I agree with Faith: this is the Rihanna I love – when she is most edgy and daring. Sure, the look’s not for everyone, but this is Rihanna we’re talking about, and she makes different work better for her than conventional. Love it.

I personally love the look. The APC x Carhartt jacket is something I’ve been eyeing for a long time.
I love the creepers too, I own a pair of platform chucks and intend on diying myself a pair of creepers soon.
