New York Fashion Week might be over, but we are still reeling over the loads of stylish starlets who were seen out and about in between shows. Solange Knowles was one of them, going for bold in a printed suit from Diane von Furstenberg’s Spring 2012 collection:
She was snapped at Lincoln Center by photographer/blogger/Grazia editor Tamu McPherson and paired her suit with a printed shirt and yellow suede pumps. Solange kept her makeup fresh with defined eyebrows and her signature afro.
Can you say fab? Solange looks effortlessly beautiful here and I love the way she mixed prints and bright hues. I personally might’ve shortened the hem just a smidge…but that’s just me!

nice fit but I feel like its tooooo mature for her…. :( this was the first time I said hmmmmm to anything of hers!!!! I could deal with the skirt by itself though

Hmmm on this pic! This look ages her too much. The length is what’s killing the look. If the skirt length didn’t hit her at such an odd point, I would have liked it a lot more.

it worx for her and i think the length is nice if it had been someone with their chest all out and clothes so tight you’d be singing their praises. appreciate the look of a lady.

I like the length of the skirt. But the matching jacket is overkill, especially with the fit of jacket. It makes her look frumpy. It would have looked better with a cropped blazer, perhaps with a solid color.

I love Solange, I can see how everyone thinks it ages her, but I feel a refreshment from this look. Too much showing of skin nowadays. She is covered and lets the clothes speak for themselves. The colors are perfect for the upcoming season, her hair is yummy, fresh faced makeup just completes the look. I think she looks amazing.
