Corinne Bailey Rae made quite the statement at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards in Christian Siriano, but she changed up her style at the the EMI Post-GRAMMY Party. She rocked a sweater from Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2012 Collection with black skinnies and orange patent leather pumps:
She kept her same GRAMMY beauty look with a red lip and voluminous curls.
This look is darling and then you get to the shoes! I am all for colorblocking and lavender and orange is a great pairing, but it doesn’t seem to work here. I would have preferred a lavender pump or nude as a last resort.
What do you think? Hot! or Hmm…?

The granny sweater is kind of interesting, but the whole look isn’t pulled together. Something is off.

I actually love it–I love that the top looks like a sweatshirt but close up it’s luxe; this is the first time an after-party look really looks more casual than the main event. So often they just trade one gown for another, but this looks like, “yeah, that poufy dress was fun for the first few hours, but…”

I want to fly the flag for a fellow Brit but CBR needs to have a quiet word with her stylist.
