Stars partied it up in New York City for the amfAR New York Gala, but in LA, some of our favorite women (and men) gathered for the 3rd Annual Essence Black Women in Music Event. From red carpet favorites to beautiful ladies that we haven’t seen in quite sometime, everyone stepped out in their best.

My favorites of the night? Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, Eva Marcille, Regina King, Sharon Leal and Eve. Kelly, Eva and Eve all opted for color and I am a big fan of bright hues on the red carpet. Eva loves showing off her legs and I can always count on her for a fun and sexy look. Eve looked gorgeous, though a nude clutch would have been a better pairing with her gown. Michelle looked outstanding: she should wear more dresses that show off her physique. Regina King looked fab in all black with pops of red and Sharon shut it down in gold.

I’ve seen that silhouette so many times on Eva already, her look is tired.com. Tamia!!! God I love that woman! Kelly looks divine as does Eve. The rest are irrelevant.

I love when Kelly wears her hair like that. She looks gorgeous. Love Eva’s dress although I don’t think I could pull it off with my hamhock thights. Eve looks cute. Regina looks a little bland…not well put together.
