Ruler’s back!
Beyoncé Knowles emerged for the first time since she gave birth to her first child, Blue Ivy Carter, last month. Last night, she attended the first of two concerts hubby Jay-Z is doing at Carnegie Hall to benefit the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation and the United Way. For the occasion, the singer and new mommy chose a $445 red ruched 3/4 length sleeve dress from Alice by Temperley‘s Cruise 2011 collection, a $1,450 Alexander McQueen skull clasp clutch, and $2,795 Christian Louboutin embroidered pumps.
She rounded out the look with a pair of good hoops, a textured gold bangle, and, of course, freshly manicured blue nails.
Her Cruise 2011 collection Molina dress has front ruching to conceal any post pregnancy bumps:

What can I say? The woman looks ah-mazing. Nursing bra, be damned! These second and third-rate divas better get some galoshes, because Ms. Knowles is making it rain up in here! Hair, makeup, outfit, accessories, Spanx: flawless.

Lol…you say “huge hips” like it’s a BAD thing! That’s not an illusion, honey got some hips on her and always has…I find that attractive though. May just be me. I think she looks gorgeous.

My girl looks good! Anyone with common sense knows that she was pregnant, if they looked at her pics. Also, anyone with common sense knows that most women that were physically fit prior to pregnancy usually bounce back well after pregnancy (celebs esp. because they have money to pay great trainers to help them). I’m so tired of people treating Beyonce like she is super human. SHE’S NOT, she a woman with great talents, but just like millions of other women in this world she had the God given blessing to procreate with her husband and she did. People need to grow up already.

I love the contrast in voting…”not that special” i don’t think she was trying to wow anybody, she looked great to just given birth, she picked the right type of dress to show off those curves, and she looks great for a night out of supporting her husband.

Not everyone gets fat and out of shape after giving birth. Eat clean and stay active and chances are you will bounce back.
Dress is very forgiving…add some Spanx and you’re good to go.
She looks great. I saw a side shot on another blog and her breasts are massive…no one can tell me this woman is not nursing.

She looks good, she’s taking me back to her early days when she was curvy. But no, she’s not giving me life and I’m not yelling WERK! This is typical Beyonce. Didn’t we expect her to wear a dress and heels to a charity event? Having a baby doesn’t mean you don’t go back to your normal self. She was pregnant, not dead! People act like she came back from the grave looking good. I don’t get the hype?????? I love her hair and simple accessories even though I don’t love that dress.

I think she looks AMAZING! You can clearly tell that she is waaayyy thicker than she was before she got pregnant. Her waist line is no longer snatched and those hips are booming more than before. For the girl who said you can’t lose weight quickly post-pregnancy… you’re referring to the same woman who lost 20 lbs in 2 weeks doing that Lemonade Diet for her role in Dream Girls. She doesn’t go to work everyday like us regulars do so she can train 3-4 times a day if she wants! Smh… don’t worry about the haters Bey! Keep doing your thing cuz we love it!

I think for one month she looks amazing! I am on the fence with the dress as far as her wearing it to Carnegie Hall, but I do love the fit and the fact that she is sporting HIPS!!!! It amazes me that people think she was never pregnant just because she doesn’t look like what they expect her too. Not EVERY pregnant woman looks the same. Not EVERY pregnant woman gains a boat load of pounds with her FIRST child. Besides, don’t you think Bey has her fair share of spanx on? SHE LOOKS AMAZING. Anyone who doesn’t believe she was pregnant can catch a brick. She has nothing to prove to ANYONE but it is possible to lose weight fast after pregnancy if you’re active. Plenty of models do it all the time. Get over it. I know she’s going to slim down when she starts touring but i hope she doesn’t lose those hips. I LOVE HER.

i’m not going to go hard for beyonce like she’s paying my bills but i will say she looks like she had a baby. she hasn’t even lost the baby weight so i don’t know why people are saying she got small too quick. i think people forgot how small she was because we’ve seen pregnant photos for the last 6 months.

Im living for her blue nails…she just inspired me! lol…But I think she looks amazing, healthy and not over the top. Instead of looking at her like oh there goes beyonce im looking at her like wow such a pretty woman..she looks very realistic and for lack of better words human/ordinary here and im glad to see hips her weight goes up and down and this was the look beyonce had when she first stepped out as a solo artist and we were like that bitch body is BADDD!

chill19121, you must have a personal relationship with her uterus. I can’t deal with all these “pregnancy doubters.” When you are filthy rich and have a trainer/cook/etc at your disposal, losing weight is like the ABCs. Don’t compare your personal post-pregnancy fail for weight loss with her, or anyone else for that matter.
Fan or not of Beyonce, she looks great. Lets just leave it at that.
