Rihanna was spotted out and about in Hollywood rocking a new blonde ‘do and a very interesting ensemble including studded shorts, leather thigh high boots from Christian Louboutin and a $629 Stella McCartney Colour Play Striped Knit Pullover:
Her tangerine wool sweater features cream stripes and long sleeves for a bright take on winter dressing.
She also showed off her new hair at the Denver Nuggets vs. the Los Angeles Clippers game. She rocked the same shorts and thigh-high boots with an off-the-shoulder ribbed sweater:
Rihanna’s reason for going blonde? A cover for ELLE Magazine debuting later this year.
I actually like the color, though I am not sure how long Rih Rih intends to keep it. As for the ensembles: I love both sweaters, though the boots seem out of place. I am getting a rock and roll vibe, so let’s see how this plays out.

I love it! Rihanna is so fearless! Nothing about her is fake or calculated to me. I guess when you’re rich, single and in your early 20′s…it’s the perfect time to wear cut off shorts with thigh high boots. I do like both sweaters though.

In another article it said she tweeted that she bleached her hair and the rest is weave. Like Lady Gaga, I love that she doesn’t let anyone dictate her style, hit or miss but I love both of these outfits on her. Those boots are KILLER!!!!!!

I love it! I remember saying on the Armani Jeans post that she should go back to blonde, she wasn’t blonde for long. I love it on her! She’ll just need to wear bronzer so it doesn’t wash her out too much. This girl is amazing!

Hmm… the hair looks great, but ít’s so mainstream. I started finding Rihanna intersting when she started playing with her style…
Even with great clothes, this hair just makes her blend in and is therefore uninteresting. Hopefully she’ll still make it work.

Love the outfit, dislike the hair- it is not flattering for her face or skin tone at all, she can’t rock blonde, sorry. The ensemble is awesome though. Love how she took a rather boring jumper and made it come to life and gave it a story with the light denim, studs and leather boots. Too cute
