Are we over Kim K for 2012? Well, it seems her promotional train doesn’t stop, as the starlet was spied at Cinema For Peace’s Event benefiting J/P Haitian Relief Organization in Beverly Hills. For the occasion, she went for Hollywood Glamour in a $4,890 Lanvin Asymmetric Silk Satin Wrap Gown:
Her silk-satin gown features a draped asymmetric wrap front, a plunging v neckline and a tulip hem, all coming together to create a beautiful hourglass shape.

This is such a fabulous and elegant look for Kim. In addition to altering the look it seems she also dropped the sash. I love when she trades in her mini dresses for new ways to accentuate her curves. I might have preferred an updo, but that face is beat to the gods (as usual)!!

I don’t like this dress for her. I would love it on somebody else. As for the face, she needs to stop the alterations. She was pretty to start with but she is rolling herself downhill. Watch out Joan Rivers!

this is supposed to be a fashion website. Kim’s fashion is on point 99.9% of the time. I think ppl just don’t like her so they don’t like what she wears. If i were a celebrity i would definitely want her stylist. That being said, i don’t like this look. She looks very old her and it doesn’t fit properly. I can’t quite put my finger on it.
p.s. please don’t stop with the Kim K posts. Fashion posts are never too much no matter who’s wearing what.

hmmm… The hair with the dress is bit much. There’s too much bulk in the dress that’s reminiscent of a homemade toga, upon second glance it could be how the fabric photographs.
I feel that as an entire ensemble its almost there. If her hair was pulled back, then it wouldn’t seem to overwhelm her frame with the dress. Simpler is better
Just my observations… eta she is the spitting image of her mama.

No doubt the girl is beautiful even prior to the plastic surgery (which I think is getting to me too much, her nose gets thinner every year) But she has a banging body, I don’t care for the dress I think the hem is too long or not long enough… Just not feeling it also the hair is not going with the overall look, looks like she borrowed a pair of Gabriel Unions shoes for the event lol (have to have read prior blog from Claire) Ciao chicas.

I think Kim lost some weight, her face looks a little less full and I don’t remember ever seeing her collar bone. I think the dress is supposed to fall like that, thankfully she is well equipped to hold it up. Her makeup and hair are always the same so there is nothing new there but I love the fact that she is dripping in diamonds.

No es su mejor estilo, el traje acentua precisamente el área mas conflictiva de su figura que son las caderas y no para bien precisamente. Se la ve pequeña y redonda. Prefiero tejidos más delicados y vaporosos si es un vestido largo el que va a lucir, sobretodo teniendo en cuenta su altura.

I agree @ Anna. This is the kind of dress I usually go crazy over, but it belongs on someone taller and less busty. This is supposed to drape over the body, not be placed strategically.

It is simply tasteless. It is very sad, that people are losing all (or probably even never had) aesthetic ideals. Why she is choosing to be a fashion expert. It is not a question about a dress style. It is a question about cheap taste. And it is a big problem that illiterate stars of reality shows become a role models..
