Happy Monday! Winter is rolling its way right in—it was coooold out this weekend, wasn’t it? Anyway, that of course didn’t stop some of our fave celebs from being seen out and about–of course in warmer climates.
Let’s get right into it…
You guys know I love Nicki Minaj (who just celebrated a birthday), so naturally I think she looks adorable in this civilian outfit. I’m almost always against the wearing of leggings as pants, but it kind of works on Nicki here because of the excess length at the ankles. I’m loving her fur coat, Louis Vuitton bag and scarf, and shoot–I even like her Fendi Shearling Shoe Booties. HOT!
Over in London, Leona Lewis looked minimalist chic in a Topshop camel single-breasted coat and blush colored pumps. Love the hair and makeup—especially the splash of color with the pink blush. HOT!
Taraji P. Henson hit the opening of the L’Occitane flagship store in NYC (btw, their Immortelle line is a must-try). I didn’t think it could be possible for those Fendi Spring 2011 shades to look bad, but somehow Taraji managed to do it with this ensemble. *sigh* She reminds me of Velma from “Scooby Doo” here and like if you ran up on her and said “Boo!” she would jump out of her skin. I’m willing to bet though that underneath this nerdy outfit she’s wearing a FABULOUS cocktail dress. Let’s just hope.
Then over in our nation’s capital…
Jennifer Hudson was spotted coming from rehearsal as she’s readying to sing at the White House for the holidays. Now, J. Hud…you know you’re too fab for this getup.

Girl, these short, wispy bangs aren’t for you. Beautiful skin though, yet overall hmm…
Gabrielle Union posed on the red carpet at NBC’s “American Giving Awards”. I’m not a huge fan of the dress but Gabby looks too cute.
Then just when you thought it was safe…
…here comes Garcelle Beauvais shutting EVERYTHING down with her gorgeous skin, hair, makeup and body wrapped in a Versace for H&M dress. Needless to say, HOT!!!
Angela and Vanessa Simmons posed at an event for the launch of their new Pastry Lite line. Can’t say I can co-sign on these outfits, but hair and makeup?
YESSS!!!!
and YASSSS!!!! Never underestimate how pretty makeup can be using colors close to your skin tone.

Leona nailed it! Vanessa and Garcelle’s makeup is FLAWLESS! Taraji looks a mess. WTF is going on with Jennifer? From that 1989 sweather dress with the wig to match and that horrendous make-up? Seriously J, get it together.

What people need to realize is that they are marketing to a younger group of ladies when wearing crazy outfits to their pastry events, so to me she gets a pass. Pastry is for younger girls who are teens.

Nicki looks great in her lil’ outfit. She should do this more often. Leona is looking good too for once. Taraji needs to quit playing, LOL at Velma from Scooby Doo, she’s totally giving that vibe. I see Gabby is back to black, and look what happens–an no shape flattering- feathered ensemble. Why does Angela always feel the need to be in a costume? Her and her sisters outfits are a mess. Make up is HOT though.

As much as Angela Simmons gets on my nerves and i think shes an attention whore, when it comes to dressing she does no wrong in my eyes…shes looks ADORABLE!!!
Leona Lewis n Nicki are also one of my faves as well.

Leona Lewis – now I see the nose job. I had to do a double take AND put my glasses on to recognize her. She was pretty before but I’m sure industry pressure made her feel that her nose was “not ready for prime time”.
Taraji looks a mess.
JHud – love u but get a better hair stylist, that wig is a H.A.M. She looked so cute in her “Spotlight” video, that cut complemented her face. These long Mortia wigs look horrible on her.

Funny story I was actually at the H&M here in LA when Garcelle bought that dress. She is even more beautiful and youthful WITHOUT all that makeup. I tweeted her when I left and she remembered me…. Just thought I would share :)

Why is Jennifer Hudson so tacky…I really don’t get it, smh. She needs a stylist ASAP. I’m starting to favor Serena William’s style over hers, and that’s saying A LOT, lol. Everyone else looks good in the post. And at the end of the day, I hope Leona is happy-that’s what really matters. She still looks gorgeous.
