Among those featured was Victoria’s Secret model Shanina Shaik, who also posed for Jason Wu‘s pre-fall 2012 collection, as was Lakshmi Menon who said casting for the show “was all such a secret that I only realized there were other Indian girls when I was backstage on the day of the show! It was so wonderful to see so many beautiful women from this part of the world.” So are we! • The CFDA has officially rejected the proposal made by the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana people to shorten New York Fashion Week by a day to make time in the schedule for London’s men’s shows. This comes as no surprise since designers like Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren always show on the last day of NYFW. And really, to suggest cutting women’s shows to accommodate menswear is a little absurd. (Styleite)

The 69th most influential woman in the world will appear on CBS Sunday Morning alongside the inimitable Hamish Bowles this weekend, to discuss the pricey new Vogue archive, as well as the magazine’s 120-year history. They are entirely too cute to handle. A hip hop couple that I feel actually loves each other. I like their styles. DJ Kiss is beautiful. I want her fur vest. I agree with DJ MOS though. Perfume giving is so underrated. It means a lot when a guy can give a woman a scent that she actually likes. It means something when a guy can pick up on what his woman wants. ♥
