• Fashionista is reporting that talks between Marc Jacobs and LMVH regarding his Dior takeover fell apart due to unresolved money issues, as well as the change in design aesthetic that was bound to happen once Jacobs transferred his entire design team from Vuitton to Dior. • Fashion thieves strike again in Paris, this time taking off with Louis Vuitton‘s Spring 2012 collection (one I would actually steal.) After breaking into Charles de Gaulle Airport Friday night and smacking down five airport employees, the thieves made off with over $400,000 worth of merchandise. • As expected, this year’s Black Friday made retailers quite a large chunk of money, with shoppers spending $52.4 billion this year, up from 2010′s $45 billion. Aren’t we having an economic crisis? Where are people getting this money? WWD attributes this increase in sales to the increase in online and mobile purchases, as well as people buying stuff for themselves as well as for those on their holiday shopping lists. (WWD)

This one was a toughie, so we contacted her reps, who said, “That dress is a vintage piece she found while shopping at vintage boutiques in LA. The tag has worn off and unfortunately is not legible. So it’s a one of a kind.” So you can’t get her exact look, but you can get a comparable essence with these:Avery says, “After seeing singer JoJo in this orange number a while back, I had been looking for a dress like it for a couple months but no luck in my price range — I’m a student so funds are low.”

Who Wore it Better? Chris Brown vs. Swizz Beatz vs. Kanye West in Versace x H&M’s Bomber Jacket
Guys, if you didn’t grab Versace x H&M’s $129 Bomber jacket while you could, you might’ve missed out on the hottest item of the season!
Chris Brown is the latest celeb to rock the bomber, pairing his look with the brand’s bright blue pants and black button down top for a recent video shoot:
As we first reported here, Swizz Beatz wore the jacket to Reebok’s “Reethym of Life” party at the VIP Room in Paris with a Versace x H&M scarf while Kanye West paired the bomber with leather pants for a performance in Victoria’s Secret fashion show.
Kanye wore it first and wore it best in my opinion. His neutral pairings allowed the jacket to shine.
