Splurge: Serena Williams’s Donna Karan Cap Sleeve Twist Drape Dress

Serena Williams was spotted at the 25th Annual Footwear News Achievement Awards at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City in a ravishing red $1595 Donna Karan Cap Sleeve Twist Drape Dress:

The crimsonfire red dress features a scoop neck and elegant draping, perfect for hugging your curves in all the right places. Looks like Serena got her version shortened for extra sass.

I am a sucker for anything Donna Karan and her designs are definitely investment pieces, but this dress is definitely on the pricey side. You can find it here.

Emily B of VH1′s Love & Hip Hop to Release Self Titled Clothing Line

It seems Emily B (right) of Love & Hip Hop fame is doing it for herself with a self titled clothing line set to debut in Fall 2012:

She tells Global Grind, “It’s still in the works. It will be out Fall 2012 and you’ll get to see my journey with that as well. I wanted to do this for at least ten years. I went to school for fashion design and it’s not as easy as being a stylist. It’s something that I’ve been working on and I’m finally here. That’s my love life (Laughs)… and that’s my baby. You’ll get to see me styling too. I styled New York Fashion Week’s Samantha Black’s Fashion Show. So you’ll get to see me, Emily the Stylist and Emily the Designer, and not just Emily the Cry Baby!”

Beyonce was spied in New York City wearing a $2,465 Rick Owens Leather Jacket, $1,196 Balmain lace up zip booties, and a Burberry Prorsum Resort 2012 bag, punctuated by a fun pair of $21 ASOS Aztec Leggings:

The now sold out funky blue pants have a distinctive print and are made of a stretchy fabric—perfect for any mom to be!
Beyonce has stayed glammed up during her whole pregnancy–it’s nice to see her toned down just a bit with a pair of comfy leggings (albeit with heels). I’m not a huge fan of the print, but they work for her.
