This weekend, celebs were out and about in full force amidst all the hustle and bustle this past weekend had to offer. From front row seats at Paris Fashion Week to hitting the pavements of Manhattan and posing for the paps at award shows, quite a number of them showed up. But did they all hit high notes, or did they stumble? Let’s take a look!
First up is Chanel Iman, who kicked it with Kanye West at the Givenchy ready-to-wear spring 2012 show…
Chanel Iman wore a form fitting black dress with a sheer bodice hosting cable knit details. Kanye wore his staple blazer, white tee, jeans and sneakers. Hot! And peep Chanel’s shoes. Despite fashion critics galore slamming Yeezy’s collection, Chanel wore those Giuseppe Zanotti x West shoes to pieces.
Jennifer Hudson was also spotted at the Givenchy show…
Jennifer worked it in a black dress cinched at the waist and pointy black stilettos. All of you know how I despise pointy-toed pumps, but this pair sat comfortably with me. The dress fit her like a glove. Hot indeed, J. Hud!
Over at the BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta…
Tracee Ellis Ross stopped and smiled for the cameras…
Such a pity her ensemble didn’t smile at her…or me. While the dress wasn’t awful, it had an awkward fit around the bust, though it could be the way she posed. And the Louboutin fringed boots…hmm…though fierce, they didn’t work with the dress. A black platform pump or strappy black stilettos would have fared better in my humble opinion.
Tyrese was there as well, mean muggin’…
Maybe because he realized that it was too late to change after throwing on everything his closet had to offer. Hmm…I’m sure it’s not that cold in Atlanta as yet, but the heavy jacket, scarf, and sweater underneath all lead me to believe otherwise. He is usually so well dressed, so this was a huge disappointment. Better luck next time, Tyrese.
LL Cool J looked casual and simple in jeans, a t-shirt, jacket, and rugged shoes…
He’s color coordinated and looks quite fly. Hot!
Lastly, Jennifer Lopez and Erica Reid were spied in Manhattan…
Loving J Lo’s (faux?) fur vest and rocker chic leather pants. And Erica Reid looks preppy and comfortable in her navy blazer. Might I add she looks amaze without makeup?

Chanel looks fab! Tracee really disappointed me with this dress and boots combo, not her best look. J.Lo and Erika look good, but I’m not feeling the make-less face. LL Cool J needs to stop with the face lifts, he’s looking too waxy.

Jennifer’s hair looks great. The outfit isn’t really anything special. Black button down, skirt and heels. That’s everyday work attire.
Tracy’s dress fits badly because she has no support. Spanx would smooth out her tummy and a bra would lift those girls. Her face has a really haggard look too, it could be the lighting.
I love J.Lo’s look and Erika Reid’s looks. Erika Reid has always had great style.

If Tracee wanted to rock the boots she should have gone with a different dress, her style to me works better when she does boho look, both pieces are cute, just NOT together, i still admire her…

i think 1) Tracee Ross needed some kinda bra her boobs look a little saggy in the dress 2) some nude pointy toe pumps instead of those casual boots and 3) some kind jewelry like maybe some statement earrings
