Alicia Keys spent a night out in NYC at Skylight Soho for the Lifetime movie premiere of Five. She rocked a black pencil skirt, geometric pumps, and Dsquared2’s Leather Sleeve Blazer.
The biker style blazer features quilted leather sleeves. Price tag – $1995.
It’s a hot piece, and Alicia certainly looked pulled together. What do you think?

I personally think this looks dates her too much. More like a church outfit….
September 28, 2011 12:19 pm
It’s on the conservative side, very mature look. Shoes and clutch<<<fetch!
September 28, 2011 12:27 pm
This isn’t good at all. She looks like she going on a job interview and I don’t know if it’s the make-up or the lighting but her face looks haggard. I don’t think the skirt hits her legs in a very flattering way either.
September 28, 2011 12:33 pm
Her face looks a little rough…I think that’s what is throwing it off…makeup and hair could’ve been better…
September 28, 2011 12:39 pm
she is the only person that make this amazing jacket look so average. i second the motion that she looks like she’s on her way to a job interview. #fail.
September 28, 2011 12:41 pm
The outfit is nice and suit her so well. But face wise she is aging and it now shows.
September 28, 2011 12:42 pm
She doesn’t look happy. :(
September 28, 2011 12:51 pm
Oooo nice…”Home wrecker chic” JUST KIDDING! LOLOL.
She looks very mature, very classy…the sleeves give it an edgier look.
September 28, 2011 12:59 pm
I like that she is trying to make her style more mature for a mom……..more mothers should dress like role models and not video vixens I would have loved to see accessories and her hair down to make it look a tad more sexy but loveeeee the blazer
September 28, 2011 1:00 pm
I found the allmost exactly same jacket in Mango.
September 28, 2011 1:04 pm
Love that jacket! The shoes were just ok to me…. the CL Pigalle would have looked amazing!
September 28, 2011 1:07 pm
Her hair definitely should have been different. I like the clutch.
September 28, 2011 1:11 pm
Oh my goodness people!!!!…This is called looking simply stunning. You dont have to wear 1 millions jewelery items, or crazy lipstick colors, to look nice and be fashionable….that’s the problem with most of you these days..y’all be DOING TOO MUCH!!!
September 28, 2011 1:13 pm
That skirt is not flattering to the shape of her legs but the jacket is cute tho
September 28, 2011 1:14 pm
Seems BORING.. She could have thrown on something more sassy.. *yawn*
September 28, 2011 1:15 pm
no alicia…and the makeup is not good…this is not the look that a new mom and wife recently cheated on should be going for…
September 28, 2011 1:36 pm
Looks like she’s going to church to me..
September 28, 2011 1:41 pm
This outfit actually makes her look old and boring. The jacket is nice, but not with the 9 to 5 working mom skirt. Sorry!
September 28, 2011 1:57 pm
I like it but very conservative. Her shape looks great, her face probably looks tired chasing after her cheating husband! Karma :)
September 28, 2011 2:06 pm
I wish they could find a jacket with just leather sleeves sigh. I understand though its sometimes hard to find cheap alternatives
September 28, 2011 2:14 pm
Marthe said that there is one @ Mango. Went online. Leather Sleeve blazer. About $140ish. Not too bad … compared to $1995 :)
September 28, 2011 2:15 pm
meh…
September 28, 2011 2:15 pm
Just because you’re a mom does not mean you have to look 45 in your 30′s. FAIL
September 28, 2011 3:40 pm
For me the entire look would have looked better with a different hair, make up and accessories. A platform shoe for a pop of color, a more slick hair do, and oversize clutch would have done wonders. I like the suit, I don’t like the styling. She should have went with “hard &Soft:
September 28, 2011 3:50 pm
Zara also has something similar. It’s a coat, but it does have leather sleeves. $189.
September 28, 2011 4:01 pm
yawn. love the jacket. hate the skirt length on her. The styling sucked the chic-ness out of the jacket. Bout to check out mango’s website now!
September 28, 2011 4:22 pm
This look was kind of conservative for a movie premiere but she looks nice! I’m just not feeling her blazer with those biker jacket sleeves. It just makes it look kind of tackey to me!!!!!!!!!!!!
September 28, 2011 5:05 pm
Her stylist should be fired! She never look Hot always Hmmm, whomever, is styling is making her look 10 years older boooooooo.
September 28, 2011 5:06 pm
Love the jacket hate the skirt hate the shoes with the outfit. Oh Alicia. Still the same. *Yawners*
September 28, 2011 5:42 pm
This is the best I’ve seen her look in a while, which actually isn’t saying much…. She still has the UGLIEST legs in the game, the cellulite, the cankles, i.just.can’t.
September 28, 2011 8:08 pm
home wrecker chic!!!….LMAO!!! #comedy
September 28, 2011 9:32 pm
Classic and pretty, but I think a mini skirt or some killer trousers would have kicked this up a few thousand notches.
September 28, 2011 9:50 pm
what does being a mom have to do with anything? i think you should dress your age and that means not too young nor too old. she looks about 15 years older and way too conservative for the event. if i saw a bank manager in this outfit i would think ‘she looks nice’ but a celebrity on a carpet being photographed? are you serious? alicia has never gotten it right so why are we even surprised?
September 29, 2011 10:07 am
I’m not a fan. She looks like a grandma and not a new mom. Perhaps a pop of color with the shoes would have brighten things up?
September 30, 2011 11:54 am
I like the overall conservative look…it’s her face in this pic that throws me off. I could see adding a thin silver/diamond necklace to enhance the outfit. However, She looks tired, worn out, stressed, etc.
October 9, 2011 11:20 pm
i like the wear but i dont like in she….. she looks old
