Moschino designer Rosella Jardini looked to Spanish culture to inspire the brand’s Spring 2012 collection, evoking flamenco dancers and bull fighters in each look.

Almost literal adaptations of historical costumes were modernized with the addition of embroidery, sequins, patches, and varying hem lengths. The brand’s signature bright colors were on high, as were look-at-me toreador hats, dramatic head pieces, satin bow ties, chunky gold jewelry, and cat eye sunglasses.
While only the exceedingly bold could pull off the modernized bull fighter ‘fits, any fashionista would rock the brand’s soft, flirty dresses and shimmery minis.

Loving Jourdan in that gold sequined number.

Wow I love this collection; although it evokes drama I still find it to be quite subtle and tasteful!
