What a whirlwind last night was! So many celebs turned out to celebrate the start of Fashion Week, and its annual shopping (and free champagne guzzling) frenzy, Fashion’s Night Out. Let’s take a look at who showed out and who just showed up!
Selita Ebanks, Estelle, and Corinne Bailey Rae all looked super adorable at Diane Von Furstenberg‘s shindig, although I wish Ms. Bailey Rae carried a smaller bag. That large bag looks like she stopped by the party after coming from the office, no?
Solange Knowles looked prim and perfect spinning at Lord & Taylor in a colorblock frock and rose gold loafer pumps. Hot!
June Ambrose opted for a menswear look with a feminine twist. Those sequin pants and top hat are giving me life! She topped off the ensemble with her signature Ruby Woo. Work it Ms. Ambrose…
Tyson Beckford is perpetually delicious. He kept it simple with a classic suit, but as we well know the man can wear anything– or nothing– and still look terrific. A+.
Laila Ali showed up to Destination Maternity‘s event in a silver sparkly number and some black shrug… thing. It was not chilly last night, I don’t know where she was going in that shrug! It just takes away from the whole look.
Pajama afficionada Rachel Roy debuted her collaboration collection with Amar’e Stoudemire last night in a hipster chic sequined frock and flat sandals. Hair and makeup are on point as usual, and I must say, as a sucker for color and sparkle, I’m diggin’ this dress. I wish Mr. Stoudemire did a little better than just a t-shirt and a blazer. Still, he pulls it off well.
Angela Bassett rocked all black everything for her panel at Giorgio Armani‘s stand alone store. The woman is flawless. Love!
Lala and Carmelo looked positively adorable together at Rag & Bone last night. Ms. Vazquez-Anthony has taken quite a shine to star prints (No pun intended), and while I love this dress, that bra… that bra! Why must I cry? Melo’s tee is hot indeed, but I’m not sold on the plaid- leopard print combo he’s rocking here. You can’t have both prints, sir!
Ever the quirky chick, Nicki Minaj wore a kimono with gold piping and (Father, give me the strength) chopsticks in her hair. But after that VMA ensemble, I can’t even be mad at this look!
I could have predicted Ne-Yo‘s outfit yesterday afternoon. Button down? Check. Jacket? Check. Fedora? Does it even need to be said? While I am an advocate of those men who dress like gentlemen, I would love to see Ne-Yo switch up the swag every once in a while.
Chanel Iman made an appearance at Sunglass Hut last night. As much as I adore her as a model, I am thoroughly underwhelmed by this look.
And lastly, Dwyane Wade looked positively strapping next to Vogue‘s Grace Coddington. Melo, take note: this is how you wear leopard-print kicks!

There’s something so vulnerable yet extremely appealing about Tyson’s stance…
I love Lala’s shoes, they’re just a tad too big for her… the rest of the outfit is just meh..

I agree with Sticky-n-Sweet. Ne-Yo’s receding hairline has him looking like a pedophile when he doesn’t wear those hats. As for the leopard print kicks on both Melo and Wade, I would say if Melo had had a darker plaid it wouldn’t have been so bad and D. Wade makes it work! Tyson looks gorgeous as usual ( yum!) and I totally dig Solange’s pumps and her hair. SO beautiful!!

June gets a big ol’ hmmm from me! That ensemble is NOT working! Rachel’s sequin dress is hot, could have done without the flat sandals though. LaLa and Melo both look a mess. Nicki, oh Nicki….D Wade looks good!

Yessss, saw lala n melo, both are sweethearts and she can do no wrong in my eyes lol!!! The mess that was going on at the Dash store…i wont go there! and I met Pharrell!! he was super cool and i got my shirt!!! I had such a fab time last night, just fab!

-I am so glad Solange did something with herself. Her hair is finally done and she has on a decent outfit. Super EXCITED! LOL That’s the best she has looked in a long time. Love the hair and makeup.

I happen to love Nicki’s outfitts . Look up Harajuku and it will all make sense to you. As for LaLa im just tired of seeing her period.. Hmm.. Who else ? Oh that’s right . I think Melo looks good! We (as fashionistas/women) mix prints ALL the time… its refreshing to see a guy such a he taking this kind of risk. He looks cute! (IMO)

went to chicago fashion night out and for a midwest town bloomingdales gave the best fno. walked by express and antm camille was there allowing customers to come in and take photo shoot with her an other antm. she personally came thru the crowd and dragged me to the front and made me take a picture with her!! I was so shocked. she is really a sweetie. not a bad girl like on her season.
