On the Atlanta Scene: Jeffrey Fashion Cares
By Claire

Though I came to Atlanta on vacation, I couldn’t escape the fierceness that is the annual Jeffrey Fashion Cares show.

Celebrating its 19th year, the night of auctions, cocktails, and couture benefits the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Atlanta Affiliate and the Atlanta AIDS Fund (AAF). Host and founder Jeffrey Kalinsky welcomed special guest Jason Wu, along with a slew of Atlanta’s glitterati:

Steve Harvey’s wife Marjorie Harvey was in attendance, wearing a scintillating drop back Tom Ford gown accented by Christian Louboutin red pumps and a plum Hermès bag.

James Brashears III of Corporate Code ( looked delightfully preppy in yellow pastel shorts offset by a cornflower blue blazer.

Socialites Millie Smith and Zora Foote were lovely in Lanvin and Christian Louboutin on the left, and Theory and Alexander McQueen on the right.

What Atlanta event would be complete without cameos by the Real Housewives? Cynthia Bailey worked a frothy black gown by Randolph Duke.

And Nene Leakes wore an open back cocktail accented by leopard Christian Louboutin booties and a Hermès Birkin.

The show itself featured Fall/Winter 2011-2012 pieces by Lanvin, Yves Saint Laurent, Dries Van Noten, and more:

It was a fun night!

What do you think?
