Garcelle Beauvais recently attended an event at Sunset Marquis in a striped Marc by Marc Jacobs Simone skirt–an abbreviated version of the Marc by Marc Jacobs Simone dress First Lady Michelle Obama wore on a trip to Brazil:
While Garcelle wore her skirt with a saucy tank, gold clutch, and light toned pumps, our First Lady accented her option with a cardigan, bright bag, and plexi bangles.
The bright multicolored striped silk pieces exude vibrancy and are perfectly fun options for the summer. They both boast full skirts for easy movement.

Cant see my First Lady’s shoes, but she will win over anybody as far as Im concerned. Garcelle does look nice though :)

I love both versions but Michelle is giving it a more day to day wearable feel…I feel like Garcelle skirt will only work on certain body types where as First Lady’s is more “well rounded”.
