• Premier Model Management agent Carole White reminisced with the UK Telegraph about her glorious days managing Naomi Campbell. She said, “Naomi was less disciplined and used to get me into trouble. Mostly it was because she was late, but sometimes she just didn’t turn up. I used to lie to her about what time she had to be at a job, but she soon worked that out, so I had to lie further. If the call time was 10am, I would tell her it was 8am so she would think it was 9am, but I still had to cross my fingers that she’d be on time. She missed planes too. Once after she missed a flight to Austria I had to organize a private jet to get her to the job because the money was so huge she had to be there.” Damn, Naomi, how you gonna be on CP time? (UK Telegraph)

Way to “get gritty” in some of the most expensive parts of New York City, Mr. Wang! (WWD)

*Laughing to myself* at the Naomi article….and thus I don’t use professional models…some of them are way too vain for words. Glad that as a designer I have model-like friends who I can work with.
Disclaimer: I know, I know…this doesn’t speak for all models, but I can’t say I’ve heard any better about most of them…there I said it.

@Ms. One-
The industry is clamoring for “non-model” looking models these days anyway. Naomi is beautiful but sadly, that is it. There are very little redeeming qualities to that woman SMH.

@ the LVMH post- With all the women having babies by Pinault these days, he must be on the hunt for some new-new. Salma can’t be happy about that news!
