What does a woodland sprite wear in the fall? Valentino’s fall couture collection helps us imagine such a wardrobe. Many of the pieces are decidedly ethereal, possessing an icy iridescence adding dimension to the collection’s limited color palette.
Instead of being overtly theatrical, Valentino’s collection has a quiet power manifesting itself in luxe details that seem to show and disappear in the same breath. Structured, pearly jackets are gilded with ornate patterns recalling monarchical glamor from centuries past.

Old-world notes are updated by new-age execution with laser cutouts giving a more modern feel against traditional silhouettes.
Luxe velvet gowns provide the same multi-tonal look, but in a far richer capacity. So as not to be caught in a parade of black, white, and beige, The house injects two look-at-me red floor length gowns mimicking the delicacy of this collection in execution rather than color.
Beautiful! I see a lot of red-carpet looks in this collection. What do you think?

Not feeling it for the most part, but I definitely see some red carpet looks. Maybe celebs will bring it to life for me.
