Giambattista Valli debuted his first couture collection in Paris flexing the inimitable skill and attention to detail for which the craft is known. Frothy ball gowns in white, salmon, black, and red sashayed down the tiled runway, either gracing the floor with luxurious asymmetrical trains, or puckering out flirtatiously with light chiffon skirts.

Beads, florettes, feathers, and high shoulders brought each garment to life. Even standard starched white button downs and tweed skirts were electrified by sophisticated tailoring and opulent fabrics.

Towards the end, Valli offered electric animal prints and even more accoutrements: fur and plumes to decorate delectable swaths of billowing fabric.

Gorgeous.

I love so many pieces all of the salmon dresses (short and long ones). The long leopard dress with the feathers, love. For some reason I really love the white and black dress in the second pic, I love the simple stark white and the ruffles of the black. Now if I only could afford anything from this line. lol
